The Duffy Theatre

WALT:Follow the structure of a recount to produce a piece of writing

Intro-Has your school been to the the Duffy theatre before? I am going  to explain 3 main ideas about what we did.On the 9th of February,There was some year four classes there and some senior classes came.When we went in the hall we sat down and  we played simon says for a few minutes then they introduce themselves and then they started the show.

P.1 Then Duffy ran out with a few books and his guitar and introduce his self we sang the Duffy song It was fun and cool. Duffy was reading a book about Egypt then Antonia came in dressed up as the Queen of Egypt  .It was hillarys.

P.2 Then Sienna came and duffy was there to ask her what was her favourite colour favourite animal,her sports,the things she picked with about t.v.Then she was getting into reading books and think of a garden with a lady and her name was the gardening lady. She was funny because she was singing a song called tinka tinka tinka tinka la la la it was hilarious because she said ‘’you with the funny hair’’ we were laughing heap’s.

P.3 Then Duffy was talking about Zombie Apocalypse because if you do or don’t  read the you will turn into a zombie.Sienna hated reading so much she didn’t even know It was a library It was raining and she had Nowhere to go.Then they started to rap it was a amazing rap because she had a lot of Ideas of think of making a song up.Then Duffy told the computer to come and guest who was the computer it was Antonia.

P.4 The show ended and Sela said a special speech to the Duffy actors my favorite part was when the gardening lady came out and she sang the song and when we sang the duffy song.

I have learnt that reading can take you to places you can never imagine.Also that you can follow your dreams so you can be brainy and smart.

Bungy Jumping

WALT:Follow instructions,and complete to a high standard
                                           This week our group has been Learning about why bungy jumping was special to New Zealand.Did you know Bungy jumping was the first commercial in New Zealand?Bungy jumping was created by AJ Hackett.We Learned how to read instructions in full.I could even make my own kind of pictures and put It in different kind of shapes    

My Time Table

WALT: We Are learning to tell the time.Did you know there was different kind of hands on the clock?The long hand on the clock is the minutes and the short hand is the hours.Do you know what pm  and am means?Am means in the morning and Pm means in the night.

My Holiday Hightlight

WALT: I learnt how to write a piece of writing.

Introduction

I am going to explain three main ideas about what i did in the holiday.In the holidays I went to Point England beach with my family.

1. It was a very hot sunny day,when I always go to the beach I love it because I like to do bombs off the rocks and Love to swim with my two brothers.After we finished swimming in the water my two brothers were going to play touch I didn’t play because I was tired.

2.Then we had dinner for dinner we had fish and chips and chocolate it was delicious.I was very full because I had too much food,Then I went for a little sleep then I woke up.My faviourite thing to do at the beach  is play games because it is very cool and fun that’s why I love playing sports.  

3.When I went for a swim there was water from the beach coming in my mouth it was disgusting because I swelled It and it came in my nose.When I dived in the water It felt like I was free because it looked like I was dreaming.I love going to the because we do different kind of thing at the beach.

4. It was really amazing going to the beach because it was really fun.My faviouite thing to do at the beach is swimming and diving and.It was cool playing touch and eating fish and chips and chocolate.


Our task was to write a recount about our holiday highlight using lot of details

Ambassador Application 2015

Malo e lelei my name is Lani and I’m 9 years old. I have 1 sister her name is Roimata, I have 3 brothers and their names are Tupuia,Damien And Campbell I live with my mum her name is Marion I am Cook island. I want to be an Ambassador because I would like to learn the experience and to share my learning with others. I am good really at speaking in front of other people like visitors,and memorising scripts. I have really good confidence in myself that helps me with my talents and values  

     I think Learn,Create And Share is important because we are learning new stuff,and creating thing on our blogs to share with the world. I would like to travel around and learn new things about New Zealand . An Ambassador means everything to me, because I want to show Mrs Burt that I can be the best Ambassador she has ever had like being responsible,Welcoming Visitor and being on time to school,  I love to strive to succeed.

My favourite blog post is Listening and drawing Exercise. I love this blog post because I can listen to the instructions and think about what things go where on my piece of paper. Here is the Link

Good Friend

Introduction

How to be a good friend?I’m going to explain three ideas to you.

To be a good friend you have to do the right things like welcome them in class if they are new,be polite to them and respect them.For example if you don’t look after people that are new then they won’t be welcome to Pt England that‘s why you have to look after them.

When people are hurt you have to go and see if there alright because that’s how you be a great friend is about.For example if someone be’s mean to you tell someone so they can help you, so you don’t get hurt from them.

If someone needs help with something tell a friend so they can help you.You have to Use your W.I.T.S to be a good friend you have to take Responsibility of them.For example if you don’t take Responsibility of them then they won’t be your friend    

If someone in your class want’s a fight and you didn’t do anything just tell a friend so they can stop the fight and you can play with your friends.For example if you end up in a fight then tell you brother or sister so they can help you.

To be a good friend you have to do three thing and those three things are stay future focus learner,Help other people and be sensible.
