Term 3 Was Awesome

My Favourite thing this term was playing sports and also having the market day.I had a lot if fun with my friends and even with my Lovely,beautiful and handsome teachers. I just want to say to my teachers Miss Lavakula,Mr Somerville and Mr Goodwin that you have been Great teachers this term and also have a great Holiday. Love from Lani.

Our task for today was to explain our thinking also we had to explain our thinking out with another person.I have learnt't how to add decimals.We had to choose what strategy from maths whizz or something that you worked on from practice work or something that you have worked in a group with Mr Somerville.All of us got the help from our funny and cool teacher Mr Somerville.

EGG Friend Race

WALT:Think about my purpose and reader by planning my recount.

First our teacher said that he got us little friends that we have to look after. Well our teacher said to line up outside we all thought that we were going to play with puppies but we were all wrong our little friends were eggs.

Well have you ever thought that egg races are really hard well I do because you have to hold a egg on a spoon with two hands and you are not allowed to cheat. Well we all had to name our little friends and me and my partner Cameo name our friend Emily. Emily was really strong and unbreakable.  

When we started I felt a little bit nervous because I thought that we were going to damage it but it only dropped once. I was trying to walk gentle so I wouldn’t drop it. I felt heartbreaking that some people’s little friends had smashed, but on the other hand our little friend emily was alright.

Well when I was racing with other people in my class I just kept on focusing straight and looking at my friend. I still remember when the egg race was so difficult and I just wanted to cheat but I didn’t. The most thing that was really hard about the egg race is that we had to keep going up and down, but that was really cool and fun.

The way I felt about the egg race was really nerve racking but cool and amazing at the same time. That was fun and awesome because everyone had fun and I did too.I would like to do that experiments again so I can have more and more fun.

Market Day

WALT:write an interesting and detailed recount

Last friday was market day, full of buying and selling.The market day was really fun and amazing.I bought chips, ice blocks and yummy cupcakes, Wouldn’t you? that was only half the fun. Would you want to buy good brownies, Hot chips, Ice blocks or yummy cupcakes.Read on and find out more.

There is trade and enterprise groups and guess what group i’m in, i’m in Jewel’s and accessories., There is other groups like toys,kitchen, custom stationery,music,homeware but Jewel’s and accessories was what I wanted to be in .What me and my business group made was loom bands,but these loom bands were really cool and different. At market day we are able to sell the products that we made.  We had made our product for over 7 weeks until the market came on Friday.

The whole Team 4 were split up into their enterprise groups. We started moving tables after our school assembly because straight after morning tea we were going to have the market.The Jewels and accessories group was setting up in Mrs Jacobson's classroom.Kitchen had to set up outside.There were people like visitors that came to our market they didn’t really know how to use the PTS and Piceces.

I bought a lot of items from the kitchen like brownies, Ice blocks and also cupcake. Kids got the chance to talk to their partners about who’s buying and who’s selling, Well there were 4 people in my group which was Yvonne, Revival, Vinolia and me. We all agreed that Yvonne and Revival were selling first and Me and Vinolia were buying first, that went all well.

Well I made some product that a lot of people have ordered and also my partner too.We both made a lot of money.We have been waiting for this day because we worked hard making loom bands and key rings.Well we sold a lot of stuff that we have made.  

Well the market day was super awesome because I had a lot of fun buying and selling stuff.I would love to have another market day again.The one I liked the most was kitchen because they had really really good, delicious and tasty brownies,Ice blocks and also cupcakes.Me and My group made over 70pts and 70pieces.HOPE YOU ENJOY MY STORY....

I Have learned how to make detailed recounts and learned how to make them interesting for the reader to keep on reading on, I also got help from my friends and they also helped me from my punctuation. The task was asking me to make my story interesting and put more details in it.
