News Paper Challenge

WALT:write a detailed introduction with hook and orientation.

Intro

Have you ever had a newsPaper challenge In your Class? First we Came in our literary class then Mr Goodwin told us to put our netbooks away in a safe place, We Only had eight Minutes and we only had a little bit of time.

P1.

Then he gave us the materials, The materials that we had was Scissors, Masking tape and newspaper. Then we got into five groups in my group I had Rosalina, Presayus, Olivia, Venetia and me.

P2.

Our group which is my group started with a triangle then Mr Goodwin gave us an good idea which was the bass. The bass is good to use because if you don’t have a bass and you're building a tower or something. Then it won’t stand so its best to it, I couldn't wait until our tower was finish because it was standing still.

P3.

When Mr Goodwin told us to stop we were all ready finish so that was cool, My group was doing a shape and it was a triangle shape with a bass, then it was out  of another group and they won so we were nearly close to winning.

Conclusion-

That was really fun doing the paper challenge the bit that I liked was when we were building the tower it was fun and amazing.

This task was to write an introduction that makes your author interested in your writing and make them read mare about you writing.

Poor man's Stream

Our task was to save poor man's stream because they have lots of Rubbish so it best to help them.

This task was about dotterel chicks, I had to write about where they hide there nests,Why are they important and hat there nests look like.

Year 5/6 Camp

WALT: organise my ideas into paragraphs and link them together.

Intro-  Have you ever been on a camp with your friends on the field at school?  Every year when you are a year 5 or 6 there is a camp, This camp was still going on for 25 years chant.

P1.  When we sat down Mr Burt did the karkia then Mr sommerville told us where we are going.We had some parent helpers and teachers too,were we camped, we camped at school.     

P2. My Favourite highlight about camp was The consent because my group which is Matapono e did cool dance moves and everybody else did cool one too. Did you know that we had to get up early as so we can do jump jam.

P3. My Favourite highlight about camp was doing cooking,Cooking is my favourite thing to do because when you do the ingredients its fun because you can mix and do anything else.   

Conclusion. I thought that camp was awesome.My Favourite part of camp was doing kayaking with my friends.  

This writing was about camp this year.I hope you have a great time when you go to camp next year.

Year 5 And 6 Camp

I was visiting Gloria's blog and her favourite part about going to the year 5 and 6 camp was being a team leader and going to the Lagoon because  Swimming is fun and entertaining to her.

Gloria's interesting story about camp made me fell even more exited about camp.


This is a shout out to Gloria she said some things about the year 5 and 6 camp.I am really nervous about our concert on Thursday.

River Talk

The whole purpose of going to Omuru creek was to talk to about our creek. Swimming,Playing back in the day people loved playing at Omuru creek now its just all full of rubbish. Have you ever seen our dirty river?
